This course focuses on mastering MatrixGold 4.0 commands from the ground up, guiding students from fundamental CAD concepts to creating production-ready 3D jewelry models.
Rhino 3D is a world-class 3D modeling software capable of generating highly accurate freeform geometry for products ranging from micro-designs to architecture, perfectly suited for Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) workflows.
Powered by Rhino and Grasshopper engines, MatrixGold 4.0 transforms complex CAD operations into intuitive, highly automated Dynamic Builders. It streamlines the creation of jewelry elements including Gem placement, Custom Prongs & Heads, Specialized Ring Builders (Signet, Award Rings), and Ornaments with unmatched speed and precision.
With MatrixGold’s powerful Parametric History Tree, non-destructive edits—such as changing finger sizes or gemstone dimensions—can be executed in real-time without starting over. Students will also learn advanced Cutter operations, metal weight calculation, Gem Mapping, photorealistic rendering for client presentation, and preparing error-free .stl files for 3D Printing (RP) and CNC manufacturing.
